My neighbors have this sandy looking stuff on patches of their lawns. I looked it up, and I’m wondering if they’re using green sand. Anyone know anything about this? If it’s a lawn secret, I want in on it!
I’m talking people in really nice homes too. I live in new development and a lot of my neighbors have already let their lawns go to crap….They scalp it low and make it even worse……I don’t care what you think, a nice landscaped weedfree lawn adds value to your home. And don’t tell be because they have no time. It doesn’t really take that much time to keep your lawn looking nice.

Sludge Tested as Lead Poisoning Fix in Poor Black Neighborhoods Lawmakers and the NAACP are calling for an investigation into reports that federally funded scientific experiments in 2000 spread sewage sludge on yards in poor black neighborhoods to test if it could fight lead poisoning in children. The Associated Press reported Sunday that researchers spread a mix of human and industrial wastes from sewage treatment plants on the lawns of nine low-income families in Baltimore and a vacant lot next to an elementary school in East St. Louis, Illinois.
