Check out this video about garden pictures:

Here’s a quiet creation of still pictures and video of my father’s flower garden while visiting the homestead. It’s my small tribute for my family, and for Father’s Day. There’s some very minimal but nice piano music that sounds a little like George Winston interspersed.

Much appreciated, BlueLab. I think some of the motion was excessive but it was my first try at that Ken Burns style.

Suki, many thanks for your thoughts – I was in MI just last month! It was created in an afternoon, as I sat on the patio, watching and listening to the nature, while absorbing the sights at Dad’s flower garden. The sounds were captured in the front lawn and around the side of Dad’s home. I hope to create one about clouds sometime this summer, while I’ve been too busy to add to my playlist because of work.

Sara, so many thanks. Like my note to r26y871, I also love clouds, and may very well do some kind of compilation by the end of summer. Its hard to do since my work deals with video now!

Sedonasong, thank you… I needed to use a shotgun microphone, grabbing 2 separate tracks of outdoor sound. And I gave props to the artist for a nice-sounding piano track; he gave permission for the use.

You made me say “aw,” to what you wrote so long ago. Yes, I’m a professional, but the camera was a Lumix TZ1, just a pocket camera, and it shot the stills and video. R26y871, maybe when I come up to breathe, I can add some more. I love clouds, maybe I’ll shoot one this summer.

  24. LightForAllon 12 Mar 2010 at 12:33 pm

TammyAngel, sorry for taking quite long. But would you believe that it’s the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1 camera? It shoots fine stills and the video works well also!

  25. LightForAllon 12 Mar 2010 at 1:20 pm

Aw, thanks LuvThx, I’m sorry I havent replied – or gotten on – in so long.
